Database contents: OPAC provides access to the bibliographic database of the National and University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski". Computerised cataloguing in the Library started at the beginning of 1989. The bibliographic record is structured according to COMARC format (national modification of UNIMARC, particularly the part concerning the application of Cyrillic alphabet in the print out of the Macedonian National Bibliography). The database contains over 110,000 bibliographic records covering monographs, serials as well as articles from journals published in the Republic of Macedonia.

The Macedonian National Bibliography (MNB) is a part of the Library bibliographic databas. It is available both via OPAC and also as a printed material in two volumes: Macedonian National Bibliography of Monographs and Macedonian National Bibliography of Macedonian Journal Articles.
